Presented as part of the choreographic program ‘New Romantics’ that saw Alix Kuijpers assemble 4 choreographers for Adelaide Fringe 2026 to present short works for a massive evening of bold new works. Starry Eyed was co-created by Alix Kuijpers and Isobel Stolinski, whose 9 year history of collaboration cultivated in this important work. Starry Eyed is about subversion, whilst riding the line between our current state of the world, and the fantasy that we reach for. Drawing heavy inspiration from the works of David Lynch, this duo asks audiences to forget everything they know, and exist in a world of contradiction.
